Where to even start?
A lot has happened, and my head has been spinning these past few days.
Let me start with the most exciting news for ASP developers ever since it was invented back in 1996. We have an open-source ASP/VBScript runtime! It goes under the name of AxonASP! (Github: https://github.com/guimaraeslucas/axonasp). The developer contacted me a few days ago. He is using aspLite as a sample codebase to move forward. This is great news. If this works out well, we will no longer rely on Microsoft for running our Classic ASP/VBScript applications. We'll be hosting Classic ASP on Linux. And on top of that, AxonASP includes various libraries (inspired by PHP) that we've always missed in Classic ASP. This is truly amazing and a real game changer. Let's just go over to the project and star it.
This is great news - and with that in mind, and with nearly 2 years of full-time teaching/learning nothing but WordPress - I found my way back to QuickerSite again. And something great came out of that already: templates and styles in CKEditor. All these years, they've been lying under our noses, but I never did anything with them. I added some templates (similar to patterns in WordPress) and a few styles (alerts and buttons) borrowed from Bootstrap. I have added 7 responsive templates to CKEditor that I include below: a hero section, 2-column grid, 3-column grid, image left/text right, image right/text left, banner, and a mail-safe template (useful for the newsletter feature).
First the styles - borrowed from Bootstrap (directly selectable from within CKeditor)
I include the 7 templates below - selectable from the templates-popup:

This is just a start. In a way, these templates are the go between a classic WYSIWYG editor and block-based visual page editor.
