Between 2008 and 2011, for me by far QuickerSite was the best CMS to build sites. Probably the most fun was when we first discovered Artisteer at the time, and making html templates and then manually converting them to Quickersite templates.

Totally agree Nick. The screenshot above were taken from QuickerSite.com between 2007 and 2013.

They were good days for sure, I still have QS sites running and they give me no headaches or admin, unless the hoster changes something that is

Hello David, so great to hear from you again. These are old but very nice websites. I remember having contributed to both of them at some point. Make sure to wipe the forms from time to time. I remember one of the forms on these sites had over ... 40.000 submissions... That caused a bit of a delay if I remember well. And none of them were spam :)

My teaching experience is all about WordPress. I must admit: WP has it all. At this point, I cannot think of any scenario where I would prefer to use QuickerSite.

Ever since WP has turned into a block-based pagebuilder, things went very well for WP. And having WooCommerce being developed by Automatic themselves... well, that's a big plus.

I'm lucky to have Nick helping me out and pointing me to useful plugins. And for the record: IIS (Windows) is perfectly able and very well equipped to run WP sites. So far, I hosted 400 WP sites on my good old Amazon Windows Server. Zero issues.
